MacGregor House, commonly known simply as MacGregor, is located at 450 Memorial Drive on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Named for Frank S. MacGregor, it consists of a 16-story high-rise tower surrounded by a four-story low-rise.

Entries

Main article: MacGregor entries

MacGregor living space is broken up into nine entries, five in the high-rise and four in the low-rise. Each entry has its own distinct style and resident culture.

Facilities

MacGregor's common areas include standard laundry facilities, a weight and exercise room, a music room, and the MacGregor Convenience Store (MacCon).

HouseComm

Main article: MacGregor HouseComm

Many facets of MacGregor's operation are run by HouseComm, the student government organization. HouseComm consists of a president and vice-president, an entry chair, or pair of co-chairs from each entry, and various activity chairs.

Desk

Main article: MacGregor desk

The MacGregor desk in the main lobby distributes mail among the residents and lends out free DVDs, as well as monitoring visitors' access to the building.
